MSIP launch an Innovation Challenge

MSIP is launching an Innovation Challenge, with the closing date 20 August -  a grant funding call for companies seeking to develop zero emission alternatives for small scale off-grid, mobile or temporary energy provision.

Through this call, MSIP is looking to support early-stage opportunity or feasibility studies that will allow companies to develop a platform for future product and process development opportunities.

It is expected these projects will support the delivery or demonstrate the viability of zero emission alternatives for small scale off-grid, mobile or temporary energy provision that can have a range of applications including powering road works, catering vans, off-grid lighting towers, construction and others.

The majority of projects are expected to be desk-based research or consultancy projects that will provide the company with the evidence required to progress further technical development and funding commitments.

Approximately £50,000 of grant funding is available and MSIP aims to fund up to 10 projects - successful applicants will receive funding of up to £5,000 to support the opportunity or feasibility study that addresses The Challenge.
